We study the genetic diversity of Anatolian birds and evolution of them.
Anatolia has very important biodiversity due to geographic structure and climatic conditions. We try to understand to evolutionary process of the birds in population genetic. If you want, you can help us understand that.
We have a simple mission: to understand the evolutionary process and phylogeography of Anatolian birds. Our genbank has more than 3000 speciments, bloods or feathers of 95 species. All the birds were realised after the taken the blood or feather in the chatced area.

Genetical studies are done in Molecular Ornithology Lab. We usually use mitecondrial genes and micro satellites.
